Wallace and Gromit - CHEEEEESE!!!
I know I haven't posted in several weeks ... but I had to share my joy with the rest of the world ...
My GF ... who loves me VERY much ... has managed to land me passes to go see the premiere of Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit here at the Toronto International Film Festival ... can I tell you something? I'M SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! So ... any fans of the dynamic duo ... post your thoughts and feeling about the two most prolific lovers of cheese ever to hit the screen ... and provided everything goes off according to plan, I may come back here with a bit of a review! Well ... I'm sure our friends on the other side of the pond can shed a little more light as to the identity of these two ... they're the creation of Nick Park and Aardman Animations ... stars of two Academy Award winning short animated films ... The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave ...
That paragraph should give you plenty to drop into Google ... They really are quite entertaining ... and in an age where every special effect is done in a virtual space, it's refreshing to see a film where every shot, and I mean EVERY frame of every shot is done BY HAND ... www.wandg.com |
